About Goldsmiths

Founded in 1891, Goldsmiths is part of the University of London. The university has a wide range of innovative and engaging programs ranging from Curating to Music, Mind and the Brain. In the recent Research Excellence Framework, three quarters of the research was rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. They are also a world leading institution for arts and humanities ranking in the top 100 universities in the world (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021).  Goldsmiths has a fantastic graduate careers record; alumni include seven Turner Prize-winners and recipients of Oscars, Mercury Music prizes, Ivor Novellos and BAFTAS amongst others.

Facilities

Based on a single-site campus, Goldsmiths offers an impressive range of facilities including modern study spaces equipped with the latest computers and industry-standard equipment. They also offer a host of subject-specific facilities, including radio and TV broadcasting studios, film editing suites, specialist research laboratories and even a 160-seat theatre for theatre students. Students also have access to Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art, London’s newest contemporary art museum with rotating world-class exhibitions by international artists.

Goldsmiths University is a close-knit community with students from 140 countries, which makes for a diverse learning experience. New students are encouraged to get involved in the many extra-curricular activities organised by the Students' Union and the huge selection of clubs and societies.
